# What our AI receptionist handles across real businesses

From our client work (aggregate, no client names)

> The WebKMS AI receptionist answers real phone lines for small service businesses and for our own e-commerce company. Here is what that adds up to, with no client named.

## The challenge

Small service businesses (clinics, trades, home-care agencies, cleaners, law firms, décor studios) lose calls while staff are with patients, on job sites or in meetings. Most can't justify a full-time receptionist, and voicemail rarely gets a call-back.

## What we built

- **An AI receptionist on each business's existing number.** Each one is set up with that business's services, hours, service area and rules for when to hand a call to a person.
- **The same system on our own line.** It also answers the phone for our own e-commerce company, [EMR Shielding Solutions](https://webkms.com/case-studies/emr-shielding-solutions).

## Results (all-time, as of October 28, 2026)

- **About 1,840 calls** answered for client businesses in physiotherapy, HVAC, accessibility, home care, cleaning, law and décor.
- **About 3,960 calls** in total, including our own company's line.
- **Physiotherapy clinic:** **639 calls** since March 2026.
- **HVAC company:** **415 calls** since April 2026.

Client names are withheld.
